My space would have an inside and an outside component. Outside would be a shady spot with a hammock hanging. the walls of this room would be green - they would have foliage thick enough to block the view of me and my view of the neighborhood streets. I'd like to lounge and read and have a glass of wine and not be bothered visually with cars zipping by. Lily would be curled up on the shelf underneath the wicker table. Nearby is the indoor room - they may even be contiguous with a rusty old window pane wall. An old, slightly decrepid greenhouse room with a brick floor, and ful of thriving winter plants. It is warm inside even in the winter because even if it looks old, I have maintained it well enough to heat it. There is a wooden table, a couple of chairs and a ratty old comfy chair to curl up in. This is a room for eating, reading, art making, journaling. My collection of heart shaped stones might even be in there in a bowl or in the corner on the floor - I have quite a few hearts.

From SMF:
My space... Let's see... a place to read. A comfy upholstered chair and an ottoman? A chaise with lots of pillows? A small built-in desk area with drawers and pigeonholes. The desk for writing, paying bills--could it also pull out to accommodate my sewing machine? (Maybe one of those pull-down, small ironing boards?) A... lamp with a pretty shade. One or several windows. Small refrigerator. A porch with a railing and window boxes--and room for a table and two chairs. (This is just my first go-round. I may have more ideas later.)
