I am Kate. That’s me, curled up in the chair in the corner.
I pay close attention to everything around me: colors, textures, sounds, language, smells and shapes. I carefully pocket snippets of it all in my mind. I never know when it will come in handy, but I enjoy pulling it out and putting it to good use.
I’ve found ways to share it all with you here. I hope you enjoy it. I hope what you see here will inspire you, as the snippets of the world inspire me.
What are snippets?
Snip-pet (noun, Pronunciation: \’sni-pət\)
:a small part, piece, or thing; especially : a brief quotable passage
At 4 Square Walls, a snippet is an image presented with a piece of verbiage or text. You will see that when combined, the two items selected will be worked together by your brain to form something interesting: an image in your mind, a story, a flashing recollection. If you would like to share your thoughts on the snippet with us, click on “TALK ABOUT IT” and share away! A new Snippet will be posted every other Tuesday.
How to play photo challenge?
A new image will be posted every other Thursday. When you think you know the answer to the challenge, click on “TALK ABOUT IT” and leave your answer there. The first person to leave the correct answer wins a prize. The winner and prize will be announced the following Wednesday.

Where is it?
This is a local challenge, for my readers that live in the Kennebunks: Kennebunk, Kennebunkport, West Kennebunk and Arundel. Tell me where the photo was taken.
Pixel-It!
Each day for four days the image will be re-posted, clearer each time. Check back each day until you can determine what is in the image, then be the first to submit your answer. The answer image will be posted on Wednesday, as usual.
What is it?
Simple. It’s a snippet of a random object; just be the first to tell me what it is.
